Funktionsweise

Kompatibilität und Flexibilität

The Smart Datalogger is compatible with LIDoTT Sensor U, LIDoTT Sensor M, and LIDoTT Sensor R, making it a comprehensive solution for capturing continuous, high-quality data on water levels and depths in various applications. This flexibility makes it ideal for monitoring sewer networks, drainage systems, and open watercourses.

When used in combination with LIDoTT Sensor M, the Smart Datalogger becomes part of a fully MCERTS-certified system, meeting the Environment Agency’s standards for Überwachung von Stauräumen und RÜBs compliance, making it perfect for regulatory reporting and compliance monitoring.

Standalone Smart Datalogger for Multi-Sensor Integration

In addition to its role in complete water monitoring solutions, the LIDoTT® Smart Datalogger can be used as a standalone smart data logger to connect to other third-party sensors. This adaptability allows you to collect data from a range of sources without the need for multiple devices, reducing complexity and overall costs.

Data collected by the Smart Datalogger can be sent to any data platform via API. This makes it easy to integrate into existing systems and leverage the data for analytics, modelling, and network management.

Remote Programming and Maintenance-Free Operation

Designed for efficiency, the Smart Datalogger offers simple setup via the LIDoTT® mobile Bluetooth app.  It supports remote firmware updates, allowing settings to be changed without site visits. This feature minimises maintenance requirements and ensures that the datalogger remains up to date, reducing the time and cost associated with on-site maintenance.

• Optional external antenna available to enhance signal strength in areas with poor network coverage.
• Data logging rates can be set at 2, 5, 10, or 15-minute intervals for optimal data capture.
• Flexible transmission settings: Data can be transmitted daily or more frequently, with the ability to adjust during events for detailed monitoring.

The Smart Datalogger communicates using 2G and 4G (LTE-M and NB-IoT) networks, automatically connecting to the strongest available signal for reliable data transmission, even in remote locations. The integrated bracket simplifies installation, ensuring a secure fit in various deployment settings.
