We have an opportunity for a Hydraulic Flow Validation Engineer to join our team. Working remotely, you will carry out hydraulic flow validation tests on Wastewater Treatment Works and other assets throughout Hampshire, West Sussex, East Sussex and Kent.
If you are familiar with the different types of flow monitoring technologies such as electromagnetic, clamp-on, velocity and have a working knowledge of flow dynamics, pass forward flows and MCERTS, this could be your next career move.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounts assistant to join our accounting team in Colne, Lancashire on a part time basis.
You will support the day to day functions of the accounts department from maintaining purchase ledgers and posting purchase invoices to preparing monthly supplier payment runs and bank reconciliations.
Previous experience and a good working knowledge of all accounting routines is essential. Ideally, you will be enthusiastic, well organised, diligent, and able to work to strict deadlines whilst paying attention to detail and working both as an individual and as part of a small team.
The primary role of the workshop technician is to assemble, test, calibrate, service and repair a range of electronic and intrinsically safe flow and level measuring instruments.
This is a full time role based in Colne, Lancashire and would be ideal for someone with a keen interest in electronics and familiar with using mechanical hand tools.
You will use standard electronic testing equipment and will ensure that all work conforms to company operating and maintenance standards and in accordance with all current legislation. Full training will be provided.
You will work as part of a small team predominantly in the North West of England carrying out installation, calibration and maintenance of Detectronic’s Smart Flow and Level monitors in the wastewater network.
To be successful you’ll be flexible, practical and have the ability and enthusiasm to learn new skills. The ability to identify and troubleshoot problems is important as is the ability to work unsupervised, so you’ll need to be self-motivated and well organised. A full driving licence is essential although you do not need your own vehicle.
Full training and on-going support is provided and all that is required is common sense and a “can-do” attitude.
This job will involve working in some confined spaces and requires a reasonable physical fitness level as well as being willing to work outdoors in all weather, but not all work is outdoors or challenging. For the right candidate this job will provide an interesting and stimulating challenge.
In return, we’ll give you a full training package, pension, company bonuses, 20 days holiday + bank holidays plus an extra day for each year of service, capping at 5 extra days and a generous nightly working away allowance for those occasions when the sites you’re visiting are too far away.
Salary from £18k, depending on experience.
