Detectronic MEICA, our engineering division is looking for an experienced admin assistant. Working as part of a small team, you will need to be organised, use your initiative and develop the role as your own.

What the job entails:
As part of the field services team, you will carry out installation, calibration and maintenance of Detectronic’s Smart Flow and Level monitors in the wastewater network, predominantly in the South West of England.

What you offer us:

Our training programme includes CSCS, Confined Space, NRSWA and First Aid. Please tell us if you already have any of these or other certificates.

Field Service Technician for north west – 8 positions

Job Description: North West field service technician

You will work as part of a small team predominantly in the North West of England carrying out installation, calibration and maintenance of Detectronic’s Smart Flow and Level monitors in the wastewater network.

To be successful you’ll be flexible, practical and have the ability and enthusiasm to learn new skills. The ability to identify and troubleshoot problems is important as is the ability to work unsupervised, so you’ll need to be self-motivated and well organised. A full driving licence is essential although you do not need your own vehicle.

Full training and on-going support is provided and all that is required is common sense and a “can-do” attitude.

This job will involve working in some confined spaces and requires a reasonable physical fitness level as well as being willing to work outdoors in all weather, but not all work is outdoors or challenging. For the right candidate this job will provide an interesting and stimulating challenge.

In return, we’ll give you a full training package, pension, company bonuses, 20 days holiday + bank holidays plus an extra day for each year of service, capping at 5 extra days and a generous nightly working away allowance for those occasions when the sites  you’re visiting are too far away.

We have 8 field service technician positions to fill with the salary from £18k, depending on experience.
