Home Our Equipment Water Level Sensors LIDoTT Sensor M
LIDoTT® Sensor M is a patented UK and worldwide design, engineered specifically for Event Duration Monitoring (EDM).
The UK’s first battery-powered MCERTS certified sensor, it ensures accurate and reliable monitoring for regulatory compliance. With seamless transitions between ultrasonic level and pressure depth measurement, the LIDoTT® Sensor M delivers continuous, high-quality data.
The LIDoTT Sensor M is a specialised version of the LIDoTT range, certified with the MCERTS accreditation for Event Duration Monitoring (EDM) under the Environment Agency’s stringent standards. This makes it the go-to solution for utilities needing to comply with regulatory monitoring requirements for overflow and flood events.
With its patented design, the LIDoTT Sensor M automatically transitions between ultrasonic and pressure-based level measurement, delivering continuous, high-quality data, even during surcharges and blockages. It is the UK’s first battery-powered MCERTS certified water level sensor, making it both versatile and cost-effective for extensive deployment across sewer networks.
The LIDoTT Sensor M is equipped with two high-quality sensors—ultrasonic level and pressure—to ensure millimetric accuracy and seamless data capture. It provides real-time monitoring, delivering critical insights into sewer performance and compliance data for regulatory reporting.
When connected to the LIDoTT Smart Datalogger, the LIDoTT Sensor M can also capture ambient temperature data, enhancing the calibration of ultrasonic measurements and supporting comprehensive network management.
The LIDoTT Sensor M is engineered for easy installation in a variety of locations, from sewer manholes to flow chambers. Its compact design and external battery option allow for flexible positioning, even in challenging environments.
The sensor’s ATEX and IECEx Zone 0 certification ensure safe operation in hazardous areas, making it suitable for environments with potentially explosive atmospheres.

The LIDoTT® Sensor R is a high-precision radar and pressure sensor designed for continuous, reliable monitoring in challenging environments.
Self contained water level measurement and alarm device.
LIDoTT® is a unique, UK and Worldwide, patented design.
On rising and falling water levels, LIDoTT® seamlessly transitions from ultrasonic level measurement to pressure depth measurement and back again – delivering continuous data.
An open channel, non contacting flow meter designed for use with flumes and weirs.
The Orakel Primary device system is a non contact water level sensor. It comprises an ORAKEL controller and an external level transducer.
An intuitive and versatile flow module is built into the Orakel. It works by converting level readings to flow measurements using standardised formulas.
This product is particularly well suited to measuring flows through weirs and flumes.
Tipping Bucket Raingauge incorporates a high quality robust, reliable, precision measuring device and Detectronic’s MSFM GPRS Data Logger.
They combine to provide a fully automated transmission of Rainfall.
Detectronic‘s MSFM Lite combined liquid level sensor is specifically designed to measure the levels and depth of water in Combined Sewer Overflows. It can also be used for remote monitoring of tank and reservoir levels located in potentially explosive atmospheres certified to ATEX Zone 0.
