We have a dedicated in-house field service team of over 40 technicians. Our experienced technicians are based across the UK, ensuring nationwide coverage for all installation and maintenance needs. We provide services tailored to your requirements, including both routine maintenance and reactive support to ensure your network continues to perform at its best.

Installation

Our installation service guarantees that your equipment is placed correctly, ensuring accurate readings and smooth data transmission. We take a comprehensive approach, ensuring that primary structures like weirs or flumes are set up where necessary, so you get the most reliable readings from the start.

On-site Servicing and Maintenance

Ongoing maintenance is key to the performance of your monitoring network. Our technicians provide both reactive and routine maintenance services, ensuring that your sensors continue to operate optimally. With one of the most comprehensive 3-4 week training programmes before they even reach the field, followed by 4-5 weeks of on-site training with experienced technicians, our team is equipped with the knowledge and expertise to tackle any challenge.

We work closely with our data scientists and analysts to proactively monitor sensor performance, and our field service crews are supported by office-based senior engineers for more complex issues. Additionally, we offer Over the Air (OTA) updates to continuously improve the firmware and software of your devices, ensuring your sensors are always up-to-date and performing at their best.

In-house Support

Our field service team is not only supported by senior engineers, but also by our R&D team, who continuously work on product improvements and enhancements. For example, we’ve developed enhanced antennas for better remote communications and LoRaWAN-compatible products to extend your network coverage.

If required, our in-house triaging and workshop for repairs ensures that any necessary equipment is quickly returned to optimal condition. And, when subcontractors are required, we ensure they are fully trained and certified to install and maintain Detectronic equipment to our exacting standards.

Nationwide Coverage

With teams geographically distributed across the UK, we provide comprehensive coverage wherever your site may be. We’ve been able to recover a significant percentage of sites following maintenance visits, showcasing the efficiency and reliability of our service.
