The LIDoTT® Sensor R is a high-precision radar and pressure sensor designed for accurate level and depth measurements in sewers, CSOs, and large pipes. As part of the LIDoTT® Smart Solution, it offers seamless sensor transitions, advanced integration options, and exceptional durability in harsh environments. This sensor can also function independently with existing data logger setups.
The LIDoTT® Sensor R exceeds standard requirements for sewer environments. Certified for ATEX and IECEx Zone 0, this sensor withstands tough conditions with ease. Its modular design supports easy component replacement, promoting sustainability and extending the product’s lifespan.
Designed for easy installation, the LIDoTT® Sensor R mounts at the top of a chamber, reducing the need for confined space entry. This makes it ideal for large pipes, deep chambers, and locations with accessibility challenges. The sensor’s elevated position allows for accurate level measurements, ensuring operator safety and convenience. Its design is perfect for environments where space is limited and minimising manual intervention is crucial. Well-suited for open channels and other non-contact level measurement applications, the LIDoTT® Sensor R uses radar technology for precise measurements without direct contact. The LIDoTT® Smart system’s modular design allows for easy replacement of individual components, promoting sustainability and cost-effective, long-term operation. The outer case is made from 80% recycled materials, further boosting its eco-friendly credentials.
The LIDoTT® Sensor R provides continuous monitoring for levels up to 17 metres, ensuring comprehensive data collection. The advanced radar sensor measures water levels up to 7 metres below its installation point with an accuracy of ±5mm. When levels exceed this range, the integrated pressure sensor takes over, measuring depths up to 10 metres above the sensor with an accuracy of ±0.2% FS. This seamless transition between radar and pressure measurement ensures there are no gaps in data collection, delivering consistent and reliable information essential for effective network management.
The LIDoTT® Sensor R is fully submersible and built to excel in harsh, corrosive environments, enduring extreme weather and chemical exposure. With a replaceable external battery pack lasting up to 7 years, it is ideal for remote locations without mains power. The sensor’s design minimises the need for routine maintenance, ensuring reliable performance in demanding conditions.
Operating effectively across a temperature range of -20°C to +60°C, the LIDoTT® Sensor R features an IP69K-rated housing and IP68 Mil-Spec connectors, providing exceptional protection against dust, water, and high-pressure cleaning. This ensures the system remains functional and robust in the most challenging environments.
The LIDoTT® Smart datalogger offers unparalleled flexibility with configurable data logging intervals (2, 5, 10, or 15 minutes) and transmission frequencies (from 5 minutes to 24 hours). Choose from 2G, 4G LTE-M1, and 4G NB-IoT networks, with 2G as a fallback option to ensure continuous connectivity. The system integrates seamlessly with any data platform via API, offering real-time access to critical data. Configuration, software, and firmware updates can all be performed remotely over the air (OTA), reducing the need for site visits and keeping the system up-to-date and optimised.
