Complete installation, calibration and maintenance services to keep your network working as it should
When you choose Detectronic, you can be confident you’ll get a full lifecycle support of your equipment should you need it.
We have a dedicated field service team who can provide a full range of installation, maintenance and de-commissioning services. Not only do they support Detectronic supplied equipment, our technicians are highly experienced and familiar with most manufacturers and work with many organisations to implement a programme of preventative maintenance programmes for third party equipment.
Our field service technicians are fully qualified to install in a variety of environments including confined spaces NC1, 2 and 3, traffic management, construction sites and MOD bases to name but a few.
We provide an installation service for any equipment purchased from Detectronic. By choosing our installation service, we can ensure equipment is installed safely and correctly, in the right location and transmitting accurate data.
If the installation is within an open channel, a primary structure may be needed. In many cases this will be a v-notch or rectangular weir or a flume. Before installation, we would visit the site to establish requirements. As part of the project, we would design and install the weir and ensure the open channel flow meter was reading the flow rates accurately.
Once a wastewater flow meter is installed, it is important to keep it regularly maintained and calibrated. Where it is not possible to remove the flow meter, our on site services team can calibrate in-situ.
We work with many customers to deliver a programme of Reactive and Routine maintenance. Our field service team work closely with our data analysts to schedule regular maintenance, diagnose problems with equipment and provide a rapid response when equipment fails to transmit data.
We have fully qualified technicians and engineers on hand to build, calibrate and repair all Detectronic equipment. We have controls in place to test all equipment before it is sent out to site and by keeping everything in house, we can ensure high quality standards are maintained and minimise downtime caused by equipment failures.
When equipment is returned to Detectronic head office, we have several flow rigs on site and MCERTS equipment in place to calibrate equipment against. And because the same engineers who build the flow meter are the ones calibrating and servicing it, you can be sure that nobody could be better equipped to do it.
At Detectronic, we believe in offering a complete in-house service, which is why our site crews are supported with MEICA specialists. With this support network in place you can be assured that systems are fully supported and any faults are quickly identified and repaired.
Our team includes mechanical and electrical engineers , meaning any challenging environments and applications can be accommodated using in-house resources. Our specialists can design and install turnkey projects for DCS, PLC, HMI and SCADA systems.
