Detectronic on the road

No-one likes being stuck in an office behind a desk. So, when we get the chance to attend an industry exhibition, we’ll always do our best to be there; especially if there’s an opportunity to showcase how our products can benefit water and sewage companies (WaSCs).

Autumn has seen us pull out all the stops to promote our recently launched, AI-powered predictive analytics tool for wastewater sewer networks and water recycling centres: DetecAnalytics.

Developed in partnership with international engineering, technology and software company, Royal HaskoningDHV, and utilising their revolutionary Aquasuite software, DetecAnalytics enables us to take our data analysis and reporting to the next level.

DetecAnalytics ensures that we are the only company in the UK to be able to provide WaSCs with a universal monitoring service that includes every required element from manufacture, installation and maintenance of monitors and associated equipment to data analysis, reporting and now predictive analytics.

On September 11th and 12th we were at the NEC for the Contamination Expo 2019, Europe’s leading contamination and geotechnical specialist event. We spent two days talking with delegates and peers about the very latest equipment, procedures, best practice and strategies to influence our industry. Our sales engineer, Oliver Harrison, was also invited to present a paper on the proposition and results of a recent trial of DetecAnalytics for a major UK water company; he received an overwhelmingly positive response.

Later in the month, on 25th September, we joined 30 other exhibitors and 158 water industry professionals at the SWIG ‘Sensing in Water’ Conference & Exhibition. As part of the conference, our commercial director, Dave Walker, presented a paper on a trial we’ve been conducting at a wastewater treatment works. This trial focuses on ascertaining whether it is possible to detect phosphate loads using surrogate methods.

Our final event of the year is fast approaching. From 4th to 6th November, you’ll find us at the CIWEM UDG Autumn Conference at the Belfry in Nottingham. We look forward to seeing you there!
