Description

Continuous Level Monitoring with Millimetric Accuracy

The LIDoTT Sensor U is a next-generation water level monitoring sensor, designed to deliver millimetric accuracy. Its unique capability to seamlessly transition between ultrasonic and pressure-based level measurement ensures high-quality data during both dry-weather conditions and wet-weather events, enabling comprehensive sewer and drainage system monitoring.

The LIDoTT Sensor U integrates two key sensors—ultrasonic level and pressure—into one compact unit, making it ideal for wide-scale deployment across sewer networks, culverts, and open channels. This dual-sensor approach ensures continuous data capture even during surcharge conditions, providing high-quality insights into network performance.

Seamless Sensor Switching for Uninterrupted Data

The LIDoTT Sensor U employs advanced sensor technology that automatically switches from ultrasonic to pressure depth measurement and vice-versa, delivering continuous, high-quality data. This feature is crucial for maintaining consistent performance as water levels rise and fall.

  • Ultrasonic Sensor: Detects subtle changes in normal operating conditions, ensuring accurate measurement even when silt or debris build-up occurs.
  • Pressure Sensor: Provides precise depth measurements up to 10 metres H₂O, handling extreme flow conditions.

Ambient Temperature Monitoring with the Smart Datalogger

When connected to the Detectronic Smart Datalogger, the LIDoTT Sensor U can also capture ambient temperature data for enhanced calibration of ultrasonic readings, ensuring superior accuracy and system diagnostics. This capability is unique to the LIDoTT when integrated with the Smart Datalogger.

Built for Durability and Ease of Use

Housed in a self-cleaning, resilient polymer casing, the LIDoTT Sensor U is built for long-term durability and ultra-low maintenance. It’s submersible and safe for use in the harshest environments, carrying ATEX and IECEx Zone 0 certification.

For added convenience, it requires no external atmospheric breather for its pressure sensor and can be equipped with an external battery and antenna for challenging locations.

Key Benefits

  • Millimetric accuracy for precise network management.
  • Seamless sensor transitions for uninterrupted data capture.
  • Ambient temperature data available when connected to the Smart Datalogger.
  • Easy installation and low maintenance.
