Promotion as Long-term Employee Progresses From Strength to Strength

11 years after joining wastewater monitoring specialist, Detectronic, Oliver Harrison has been promoted to sales manager.

Oliver – or Olly as he is fondly known amongst his colleagues – began his Detectronic career as a field service technician in 2011. He embraced the role that took him all over the country installing, servicing and maintaining monitoring equipment for UK water companies. Just three years after starting, he was promoted to field service manager and took on the task of overseeing multiple service contracts.

More recently, taking advantage of the many career progression opportunities afforded by Detectronic, Olly made the move to the commercial side of the business and brought his on-site experience to the sales team as a sales engineer. As with his field service work, Olly excelled following the move and, as a result, has progressed to sales manager.
