Happy 70th Birthday Gerry! Date: 16/11/15 | In: Recruitment and careers Wishing our Technical Director, Gerry, a very Happy 70th Birthday! Gerry has been an instrumental part of the Detectronic team since 1973. He was part of the R&D team which developed and patented Ultrasonic Doppler measurement techniques resulting in the Doppler Speedlog, an instrument which measured the velocity of a boat’s hull as it passed through water. Gerry also played a vital part in the development of Detectronic’s first Intrinsically-safe Datalogging sewer Flow Monitor.
